Isn't this dreamy? Watch hot air balloons drift behind ancient pagodas of Bagan, Myanmar at sunset.
Bagan is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world. Many dating from the 11th and 12th centuries. At its peak, over 10,000 temples were on the plains surrounding the capital next to the Irrawaddy River. Later sacked by the Mongols, the area never recovered its religious and city glory.
